SISSA is pleased to announce that SINDREL MedTech, a startup born from research developed at the School, has been selected among the finalists of StartUp Breeze 2026, the initiative promoted by Fondazione Toscana Life Sciences to support innovative business ideas and early-stage companies operating in the life sciences sector.

The selected finalists will take part in a tailored business development programme featuring thematic webinars, expert coaching sessions, and dedicated support on legal and regulatory aspects. Throughout the programme, participants will have the opportunity to refine and validate their value proposition while engaging with a broad network of investors, innovation centres, incubators, accelerators, and industry stakeholders.

The initiative will culminate in the Pinwheel Pitching Stage in November, where finalists will present their projects to investors and potential business partners. An expert jury will also award the title of the most innovative proposal, alongside several Special Awards offered by StartUp Breeze partners.

The selection of SINDREL MedTech represents an important recognition of the startup's innovation potential and highlights the ability of SISSA research to generate technologies with tangible impact and market opportunities in the healthcare and medical technology sectors.
