We’d like to share a great new opportunity promoted by the EIF – European Investment Fund, designed for students in STEM and sustainability fields who are curious about exploring the world of investments.

It’s called Empowering Equity Academy, a programme that aims to connect technical and scientific skills with sustainability and the European investment landscape. It focuses on areas such as venture capital, private equity, private credit, and infrastructure investing.

The programme is open to motivated students from across Europe and follows a blended format:

👉 5 half-day online sessions, where you’ll get to know the EIB Group and EIF, learn the basics of finance, and explore key investment strategies;
👉 4 in-person days in Luxembourg, featuring workshops, case studies, and the chance to interact with industry professionals;
👉 Participation in the Empowering Equity event, a great opportunity for networking and learning more about EIF’s social impact.

This is a hands-on opportunity to discover how STEM and sustainability skills can open up new career paths in the European investment ecosystem—while also contributing to greater diversity and inclusion in the sector.
