The Association CentroScienza is organising the 11th edition of the GiovedìScienza Prize for researchers under 35 from Italy. The Prize was first established in 2011 to encourage commitment and draw attention to the best in science communication and popularization. Ever since the very first edition it proved to be the showcase of the scientific-technological excellence in the land.
The initiative is aimed at researchers under 35 who have obtained relevant results from a scientific point of view, operating in an Italian Research Organization and who have demostrated skills on dissemination to the general public.
There are 4 prizes and two of these are dedicated to the dialogue between research and industry:
- Premio GiovedìScienza Futuro
Since 2016 the Prize looks at the business and manufacturing world with the Premio GiovedìScienza Futuro: the aim is to encourage dialogue and interaction between the scientific world, the economic fabric and the ecosystem of innovation, awarding the prize to the best feasibility study.
The winner, who will present a proof of concept of the project, will receive a prize of € 3.000.
- Premio Industria 4.0
A reward of € 3.000 for projects developed in industry and manufacturing.
- Premio GiovedìScienza
A reward of € 5.000 for science dissemination. The winner will be included in the next edition of Giovedìscienza (2022/23) with a dedicated conference.
- Premio Speciale Elena Benaduce
Dedicated to scientific research that have important impact on the well-being of people and on the quality of life. The winner will receive a prize of € 3.000.
