Bio
Bruce is a SISSA alumnus from the previous millennium. He is currently a distinguished professor of computer science at WITS University and professor of applied maths at UCT in Cape Town. He splits his time 50-50 between academia and industry where he runs a bespoke AI and data science consultancy that does work in government and industry in South Africa and the USA. He was previously the head of data science at SKA Africa and also a co-founder and former chief AI officer at Voxcroft Analytics, a data-driven political risk intelligence company.
